Please be informed that HokkaidoU organizes the following seminar for international Ph.D. students.
This Transferable Skills Seminar, “Manuscript Writing for Researchers”, is intended primarily for young researchers
who are submitting a paper to an international journal for the first time.

-Common language/grammar errors
-Style/format problems
-Overlooked requirements in the Instructions to Authors

4)Effective Paraphrasing to Avoid Plagiarism
-How journals define plagiarism
-Methods for incorporating published text into your manuscript
