Please be informed that OIST organizes the following seminar for international students.

Intellectual Property (IP) is part of your everyday creative activities.
This introductory seminar will give you a basic understanding of Intellectual Property.

Outline	Introduction to Intellectual Property (60 min) – Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Trade Secrets (IP 101) – What is Intellectual Property? – Why is IP important? – Implications for researchers
Lecturer	Gregory J. Kirsch A Partner and the Head of the Intellectual Property Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
